Felting Dragons

At Hector's request, felting was the order of the day and what fun we've had. They've evolved from fuzzy little white shapes of wool to Hector's Ferno the Bed Winder Dream Dragon and Hettie's Fire Master. The journey of these dragons continue... yes even I'm making one!

West Mersea for breakfast today. Sisters enjoying digging and body balancing. We saw a horse overcoming its fear of water! And lots of dogs, early morning joggers and cyclists. Over all, a beautiful start to the day.

Minecraft and learning to read and write!

Hettie is on line playing minecraft with other Home Edders in the group... she's so happy with her horse who LOVES her... ahhhhh.

So how is she learning to read and write (amongst a heap of other skills she's learning whilst playing) from minecraft?

Other players including herself can communicate/chat with each other whilst playing so NOW she wants to read... and reply. So I'm here, on hand, supporting and helping when asked to spell words and understand abbreviations.
