It's the sea! And we love it! Simply wonderful breathing in all that fresh air and rummaging through the delights that the sea had washed up! We all found some wonderful curiosities to bring home and enjoy. What shall we do with them?
From our initial thoughts on this subject to the very frank and honest quality moments on our journey in raising Home Grown and Free Range Children

Yummy Danish Chocolate Treats
Perfect for breakfast. Thank you to my lovely friend, Vic in Denmark for sending them over. They've all gone now! Time to source them ourselves for more yummy delights. They're so versatile I'm sure but we're yet to move on from just melting these gorgeous slices of scrumptiousness on bagels!

Mersea Regatta
Fabulous family time with the Bartons. It was busy but a lovely warm day. Hettie had some bouncy fun on the bouncy castle and both girlies enjoyed the Victory's climbing frames and den. We all lapped up a nice ales and mooched around the fair. It was so nice to be around the riverside and see some lovely vessels. You can take the girl out of Maldon...
Clever Nail Work
Our lovely girlie has never been partial to anything remotely 'girlie' and today she just showed us her nail-varnishy-Artistic-flare. We had friends round today and had rainy fun in the park and then a lovely long lunch of pizza and salad. Lots off chocolates and crisps too!
